We bought a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machine (CPAP) for the neonatology department of the hospital of St. Jean de Dieu in Tanguieta, Benin. The hospital, which we visited, has over 400 beds and has become a reference for the WHO in the region.  A very high percentage of new born children die here because of broncho-pulmonary problems or survive with cerebral palsy or epilepsy; these issues will be treated and solved by the new machine.
