We supplied medicines for the rural clinic of Mouda in Cameroon. Mouda is a little town of some 3,000 inhabitants in the deep north of Cameroon. In this region infant mortality (0-5 years) is at the very level of about 12% of children. The major illnesses are malaria, intestinal parasitosis, lung infections, and malnutrition.
As schools are re-opening post Covid close-down and families are in economic distress, we supplied school books and sanitizing material for the young Campesinos, coming from the humble and far away Sierra, who are pupils of the school Hermano Miguel in Latacunga, Ecuador.
We supplied food for 100 very young under-nourished children in order to bring them up to a more normal physical level in a period four months. Moringa oleifera, locally produced, a highly nutritious plant very rich in healthy antioxidants and bioactive compounds, was also used.
Following the explosion of last August 4th, we join the international support in favour of the victims of Beirut through the distribution of food parcels that we distribute directly to the families affected by the explosion of the port of Beirut and most of them have, as you know, lost everything.
