Every year, Mission Enfance joins the Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports of Monaco, to raise awareness concerning the protection of children’s rights.
Organized under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II and the Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports, the International Day of Children’s Rights is an opportunity to remind Monaco’s commitment to the protection of childhood.
This year, Mrs. Renate WINTER, International Judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague and currently Vice-Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Children, will present a conference followed by a debate.

Renate Winter : After many years at the Vienna Children’s Court, Judge Renate Winter joined the United Nations in 1996 as an expert on the Rights of the Child and, in February 2015, became Vice-Chair of the United Nations Committee for the Rights of the Child . For 14 years she has been a member of the Court of Appeal of the Special Court for Sierra Leone. She also publishes books on the subject of justice for children.
