“Sail for a cause” is a regatta that was organized by Leticia de Massy and sponsored by Pierre Casiraghi. It took place at the Monaco Yacht Club on June, 6th 2015 and gathered 50.000€ for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire.
At the ending of the No Finish Line, Leticia de Massy, who initiated the “Sail for a Cause” regatta together with the female network LeSpot.net, gave H.S.H. Prince Albert II a 50000€ cheque for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire.
The original concept of “Sail for a cause” is the combination of an informal regatta in the Monaco bay and casual sports events. Its aim is to raise funds to operate sick children throughout the world. The regatta 1st edition last June raised the amount of 100.000€ to benefit Monaco Collectif Humanitaire and also la Maison de Notre Dame de la Paix in Chad. Thanks to these funds more than 300 children will get operated !
A great many thanks to “Sail for a Cause”, its 50.000€ will help Monaco Collectif Humanitaire provide surgery in Monaco to children from the developing world whose cardiac or orthopaedic pathologies cannot be treated in their countries of origin.
