50.000 € gathered for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire thanks to “Sail for a Cause”

“Sail for a cause” is a regatta that was organized by Leticia de Massy and sponsored by Pierre Casiraghi. It took place at the Monaco Yacht Club on June, 6th 2015 and gathered 50.000€ for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire.
At the ending of the No Finish Line, Leticia de Massy, who initiated the “Sail for a Cause” regatta together with the female network LeSpot.net, gave H.S.H. Prince Albert II a 50000€ cheque for Monaco Collectif Humanitaire.
The original concept of “Sail for a cause” is the combination of an informal regatta in the Monaco bay and casual sports event[...]

Raising Children’s Awareness of Development Issues

The Department of International Cooperation, in partnership with the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, visited the Ecole Saint-Charles this morning.  The aim of the visit was to raise the awareness of pupils in Years 5 and 6 of development issues and the activities undertaken by the Prince’s Government to help combat poverty.
During November, 230 pupils in Monaco will be made aware of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the activities of Monaco’s Official Development Assistance in this sensitive area.

20th Information Meeting between the Prince’s Government and Monegasque International Solidarity Organisations

Forty NGOs, foundations and service clubs attended this annual meeting, which was organised by the Department of International Cooperation.
In his opening speech, the Government Minister, who was chairing the meeting for the first time, welcomed the spirit of solidarity in Monaco.  He emphasised the role that the Monegasque OSIs play alongside the State to help reach the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) unanimously adopted by the 193 member States of the United Nations to eradicate poverty by 2030.

UN’s Universal Children’s Day

Soutien Entraide Bénévolat and 10 other associations part of the Collective of Associations for Children’s Rights « CAP DE » will take part in the celebrations of the UN’s Universal Children’s Day, on 20th November 2015 at the Grimaldi Forum.
On Friday 6th and 13th November 2015, members from the CAP DE Collective dressed in Russian outfits will be present at the Condamine market and through Monaco-Ville to collect funds for two monegasques charities.
