This week Peace and Sport participated in SportAccord Convention 2018 and the Alliance of Independent recognized Members of Sport (AIMS) Sport Festival: United Through Sports 2018 Bangkok Festival. Over the five days of conferences, meetings and exhibition, Peace and Sport has been on the ground encouraging the leading names in International Federations from across the world to use sport as a tool for social development and inclusion.

The 2018 online #WhiteCard campaign reached new heights on the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, April6, with more than 90 million people reached on social media* since it was launched on 20 March.

PEACE AND SPORT CELEBRATES THEINTERNATIONAL DAY OF SPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE IN THE ZA’ATARI REFUGEE CAMP IN JORDAN

Peace and Sport – the politically-neutral organization which promotes sport as a tool for peace – was at Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan to celebrate “APRIL6”, the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. In association with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Jordanian National Olympic Committee (NOC), Peace and Sport organized many sports and cultural activities for young refugees.
